mingo & grace celebrates the playfulness of childhood while also being stylish and contemporary. We offer fun, fresh and modern designed PDF sewing patterns and handmade clothing for children (and occasionally adults). 

ABOUT FARRAH

Farrah has been sewing for over twenty years. She has extensive pattern drafting and tailoring experience. She does not consider herself a fashion designer, but someone who knows style.  It wasn’t until her twins were born in 2011, that she fully immersed herself in designing children’s wear. Frustrated with everything pink and frilly or covered in trucks and dinosaurs she dusted off her sewing machines to create the clothing she couldn't find or afford.

ABOUT THE SHOP

Farrah opened this shop to make the clothing she loved accessible to children's fashion lovers and home sewing enthusiasts. The shop is divided into two categories -  Paper & Stitch. Both the PDF sewing patterns and clothing are an expression of Farrah’s aesthetic – contemporary chic with a playful twist.

PAPER:  fun, fresh and modern designed PDF sewing patterns in sizes 18m- 12y

STITCH: We decided not to create a full collection of clothing, but to offer a new design biweekly. Each piece is produced in small quantities in our New Jersey workshop.  We purchase just enough fabric for the complete run of a garment, once the item is sold out it is gone forever.
