Today, i'm sharing my go to skirt tutorial. This tutorial can be used for any size.  Its just about the easiest thing you will ever make.

TUTORIAL

Materials

  • Fabric
  • ¾” wide Elastic – cut to waist measurement
  • Matching Thread

Step 1: Cut out skirt

Step 2:  With right sides together fold the fabric in half lengthwise.  Sew the edges together with a ½ seam.

Step 3:  Creating the elastic encasement/waistband Fold and press the top edge over 1.5”. Top stitch close to the top edge. Stitch 1” from the top edge, leaving about an inch open. Using a safety pin feed the elastic through the waistband. Stitch the hole close.

Step 4:  Fold and press the bottom edge up for hem. Stitch
