My mother taught me to use a sewing machine when I was three. My earliest memories are of me pressing the sewing machine petal while she guided the fabric. Fast forward thirty years and i'm a first time mother of boy/girl twins. Frustrated with everything pink and frilly or covered in trucks and dinosaurs (my son actually adores dinosaurs we've been trying to get him to stop roaring) I dusted off my sewing machines to create the clothing I couldn't find in the stores or justify spending tons of money on.
I'm inspired by my mother, my children, beautiful fabrics and all things cool. I love reading sewing, diy and photography blogs. I'm also inspired and humbled by the amount of creativity in the blogosphere.
I started this blog because I'm rediscovering my love of sewing and creating. I hope you will join me in this journey.
Beautiful family!
